The virile feral

The virile feral stopped by this evening.

The human heard his funny, uncertain meoh -- more a meoh than a miaou -- out on the porch. He looked out the door, and closed it before I could see anything out there. Then he (human) came back, and got some of the special cat food that I don't eat, and put it out there. I think he may 've spilled some. Then he sat back down and got real quiet.

The virile feral (he hasn't been fixed, and doesn't seem to have a home of his own ; he might even be Binx's father) jumped up on the windowsill and ate some of the food. When he jumped back down, the human went to the other window so we could see what was happening. V.F. was eating some of the kibble that had spilled to the ground. V.F. saw my human who recognized him, and then I said something. VF ran back down the stairs. Human then went out to check on how much the cat had eaten.

I'm not all that pleased that the other kitty comes so close, but I sometimes remember I was an outside feral cat when he first met me. He knew my mother, so I knew that he was okay, and I let him pet me and be friendly with me. So I guess it's not the end of the world if he feeds these outside kitties, but I don't want them to get too close to my inside territory.

It was too dark for any new pictures, so here are some pictures of the Virile Feral from last summer and the summer before.
