I am having trouble with adding pictures to the blog most of my pictures are all over 2mb. Is there a way I can change this or set my camera to downscale the file size?

I just increased the maximum size of photo uploads to 4 MB.
Another thing you could try, if you are using a windows-based computer, is resizing the image with Irfan View or some other photo editor.
When they said a picture was worth a thousand words, they were talking about a small picture.
