This guy showed up with his fur so matted that there were mats dragging on the ground and he had bald spots all over his body. Meowmy slowly got him to trust her, she got the mats off, she just put a collar on him and he's so poofy that you can't see it haha! He has such beautiful deep blue eyes, he looks like a grumpy old man, but he sure purrs for meowmy. She put a kitty shelter out on the front porch for him and he rarely leaves. Isn't he handsome? She calls him Gibson, named after the famous Gibson in the "Sylvester the Talking Kitty" videos Big Smile

I thought I was fluffy until I saw this guy. Someone probably abandoned him because they couldn't keep up with his grooming Frown Meowmy loves to groom Big Smile

So glad your mommy is helping Gibson. He is very handsome. My sissy fur Puff is a Maine Coon and she needs to be groomed a lot. It was so nice of your mommy to groom him and give him a shelter where he can keep warm. Looks like you may have a new member of the family. Take care and keep us updated on how Gibson is doing. Love, Breezy Belle

Before meowmy put the collar on him and gave him a warm bed he would only show up at meal times. Now he never leaves the front door Big Smile

The collar may have been a bad idea, it caused the fur around his neck to mat up again Frown So the collar is off now and meowmy is working those mats out.

When our human had Parker, Butler, Truffles, and Inky fixed, he got them collars. They did not like them. Truffles succeeded in taking his off, so he took the other three collars off. Parker can tell you more about her collar when she gets back online.
