Time for beddy bye; Monday is the hardest day for us, Mom goes back to work and we have to stay inside because it is too hot to be in the catio, but we adjust as the week goes on.
Tonight's painting is "Cat and Cake" by Robert Ellis and can be found in Prince Pan Pan's Royal Art Gallery's Gallery Additions exhibit album for November 21, 2014.
Tonight we are thinking about consideration and respect again. "Treat others as you want to be treated." Luke 6:31. We are talking about it again because this seems to be a problem in the world. Not just human to human, but also human to animal. Animals are different, they do what they do for necessity, because they need to survive. The only time animals behave outside of that necessity is when humans interfere. When humans do something to hurt them or train them to hurt others, but then the animal is the one that is punished. Look at the pit bulls, once upon a time, they were known as the nanny dog, they were used to protect and look after children, they were that trusted. Now they are misused and now they have a bad rap, it is not their fault. It is all because of a lack of respect and consideration. And remember the cat that attacked its family? Turns out the toddler was allowed to pull the cats tail and never taught to be nice to the cat, then the cat was punished (hit or kicked we think) and that is when it went crazy on them. It wasn't the cat's fault, but again the cat got punished. Dogs, cats and other creatures deserve consideration and respect and LOVE.
Time for prayers.
Dear Heavenly Father, please help our family, friends and even strangers, human and animal. Please give your support, your guidance and wisdom daily and comfort, strength and courage when needed.
Please help the homeless, humans and animals, please help them find safe and loving homes and families of their own.
Please those lost, please help them find their way home, their families love and miss them so very much. Please keep them safe until they are reunited.
Please help those suffering illness and loss, there are so many suffering, too many to name, but we know that you know who they are. Please comfort and strengthen them and their families.
Please help those suffering in other ways, financial, maybe they lost their job or have unexpected bills, there are also those dealing with emotional and mental illness; they all need you in this difficult time, so please comfort and strengthen them, so that they can overcome..
Thank you Father for the compassionate humans that work daily to help others, to make a difference, and they do make a difference. Bless them for their caring so much.
Thank you for the men and women in uniform, be they military or police. They risk their lives daily and rarely a rarely a "Thank you." Thank you too for the firefighters that are fighting wildfires across the western states, they are working hard to help save homes, homes of humans and homes of animals. Keep them safe please.
Those that do not show respect and consideration, to humans and animals, please show them the error of their ways. Please make them realize that the respect and consideration they expect is the same respect and consideration they should be giving to others, both human and animal.
Thank you for those we love and that love us back and thank you too for everything we have, we are blessed.
With gentleness, Father, please teach us patience, compassion, understanding and tolerance and help us to be less judgmental too, help us to remember that no one is perfect.
Please forgive us when for our errors and help us to be more forgiving to others.
Most especially, please Father, more true love, the love that never fails, because without that love, their is no beauty, no goodness and no light. AMEN.
To bed now; we wish you a peaceful night's sleep, with sweet and beautiful dreams. Then when you wake, remember to stretch like a cat and start your day with a smile. Be happy and share that happiness with others.
Goodnight.
Praying for you always.
Love you bunches,
Tippi & Ruger & Mom.
