Time for bed.
Tonight's painting is "Tuxedo and Stars" by Gina Stark; it can be found in the Gallery Additions - August 30, 2014 of Prince Pan Pan's Royal Art Gallery.
There are many stories on the Internet of dogs and cats left to die, abandon by heartless individuals, but those dogs and cats found new life by being rescued. We won't go into those stories here, maybe we will report on some of them later. But our point is that there are really two kinds of humans, the good and the evil, to compassionate and those that lack compassionate -selfish really....maybe there is a third, maybe those that just don't have a clue; intentionally stupid. Obviously it is better to be the good and compassionate instead of evil and selfish. But what about the intentionally stupid? No they really lean toward selfish really, because they don't want to learn to be better humans. We know that it isn't always easy to help, but please always do what you can. When you see an animal or human that needs help and you can help, please do, or if you can't please try to find some to help. If you have time, please consider volunteering at your local rescue or shelter, even if it means cleaning litter boxes, you will be helping keep a cat healthy and contributing toward its chance at adoption. If you can't volunteer, think about donating a little money, even change will help over time. Or someone shelters and rescues can always use, pet beds, blankets, litter, food, cleaning supplies. Whatever you can do, do it. Just don't be that evil and selfish human that will abandon a cat or dog to die on the side of the road. Be the savior if you can, in some way, any way you. Do what you can when you can, and as always if you can't, the pray.
Time for prayers:
Dear Heavenly Father, please be with our family, friends and even strangers, be they humans and animals. Please give us guidance and wisdom daily, and comfort, strength and courage when needed.
Please help the homeless, human and animal, they are alone, and need your help to find safe, loving homes, with families to call their own.
Please help the lost find their way home, their families love and miss them so very much; and please keep them safe until they are reunited.
Please comfort and strengthen those suffering illness and loss, and there are so many suffering illness and too many suffering loss. We ask that you hold them and help them through this difficult time.
Please help those suffering other difficulties, please help those with financial difficulties, if they have lost their job or have unexpected bills, help them.
Please help those with emotional or mental illness, they are suffering in ways we can't imagine. Please hold them and help them through their struggles. Please give them what they need most to overcome all their struggles.
Thank you for the kind and compassionate humans that work daily to help others, human or animal, we are grateful for their work, they do make a difference.
Thank you for the men and women in uniform, military and local police. They risk their lives daily, so that we are safe. Thank you for their efforts.
Thank you for the firefighters that are fighting wildfires in the western states, they must be exhausted, so please keep them safe. They are working hard to save forests and human homes. Much depends on their efforts.
Thank you for those we love and that loves us back; and thank you too for everything we have, because others have lost much. We are blessed.
With gentleness, Father, please teach us humility, patience, compassion, understanding and tolerance; and please help us to be less judgmental.
Please forgive us our transgressions and help us to be more forgiving towards those that transgress against. Help us to remember that none of us are perfect.
And most importantly Father, we ask for more true love, the love that never fails, the love that heals the spirit, the love that brings all beauty, goodness and light into existence. AMEN.
Now put your head on a pillow and sleep soundly and peacefully, and have and dream of beautiful, sweet and wonderful things. Then when you wake, remember to stretch like a cat and greet the day with a smile. A smile is the best way to start your day and be sure to share that smile with everyone you meet. Spread as much joy as you can. It makes you better and makes the world better too.
You are always in our prayers.
Love you to the moon and back.
