We are on mouse watch, Auntie Pat thought she saw one in the bathroom, we tried to tell our humans that there was something in the kitchen, that is where we saw it. But we haven't seen it in a while, maybe it went out the same hole it came in. Mom hopes anyway. But just in case, we are standing watch; our humans are depending on us. They are helpless against such creatures.

I haven't had to catch mice for years. But when I did, I did not like to share. Mama Smudge brought home a mouse once and I got it. I growled at everyone until I was done eating.

I once caught a vole. I pulled it out of its hole and took it out behind the shed.
Then I put it down and it dug back into the ground.

My brofur Pablo was always the mouser, when Danny was a baby and came to live with us Pablo caught a mouse, brought it to Danny in the bathroom, and let it go so that he could learn to hunt
