Does the vet have any strong opinions on your cat's diet ? Does the vet prefer your cat eat a wet-food-only diet, a dry-food-only diet, or some mixture? What are their views on a raw food diet? There are arguments that can be made for and against all three. In the wild, cats have to hunt for their food, and eat it raw while it is still wet. It is easier to get a house cat to chase dry food when they are inside than it is to chase wet food or raw food that has already been killed. Further questions to consider would include these : Do they sell a prescription diet? Have they created their own line of food that they sell? How much do they know about the various types of diets?
