So we have to change our diet, more can and less, much less, kibble.

The doctor recommended a senior cat food, but mom isn't sure what to get.

If any of you have a recommendation, please let us know.

Must be tasty.

I usually have cans of Friskies for my wet food. (There's also Cat Chow for me to munch.) I prefer Whisker Lickin's moist treats (I used to have Temptations, but I lost interest.)

They're calling it turkey/duck now, but the ingredients indicate more chicken. Package is 3 oz.

I like Friskies, but I need a good senior food as instructed by the doctor. Either that or one that is good support for the kidneys.

But thanks.

He almost got me one like that for my birfday a couple of years back but couldn't find out whether it was a pâté, grilled slices, or what kind of texture it was. That may have been the same year he got me some duck pâté (with peas) and I sniffed it and looked up to ask him "Where's Brexfast?"

I know some people come to the vet clinic for food for their cats and dogs. They store it on the shelf where I like to sit, and sometimes in the closet where I can only go when the techs are putting the food away. I don't get out of the clinic much, so I can't really compare the cost.

My doctor didn't recommend the prescription diet yet. She said my levels were high normal. She just recommended a senior diet, because she felt it was a better formula to try now. Plus, she knows that Mom can't afford too much right now.

Thank you.
